What is ECZ-ID?
ECZ-ID is reciprocal trust infrastructure for the machine economy. It makes a machine action answerable: who acted, on whose authority, within what bounds, under what decision, and what was recorded.

In one paragraph
Machines now act for organisations: agents call APIs, tools move data, workloads change infrastructure, devices report and actuate. ECZ-ID gives each of those machines a persistent public identity under an accountable organisation, records what it is authorised to do, evaluates proposed actions before they have consequences, and records what happened so that anyone can re-check it later. It is built to sit beside your existing identity, access and transport systems, not to replace them.

What ECZ-ID is not
- Not a safety, security or compliance certification. No record says a machine is safe, secure, correct or approved.
- Not your identity provider, your access-control system or your network path. Those stay yours.
- Not an executor. ECZ-ID never runs, proxies or completes an action.
- Not universal enforcement. A decision only constrains actions routed through an enforcement point.
