LedgerCore

LedgerCore is the integrity, retention and anchoring layer for eligible ECZ-ID evidence. It anchors selected decisive events, not every decision, and a ledger reference is not an anchor claim until it is read back.

Commercially available · no public developer API

LedgerCore plans are available through TrustOps. Evidence is stored as local records for the plan’s retention period; anchoring to the ledger is not live yet, and no LedgerCore event is publicly retrievable. Treat any anchor claim as unverified until it is read back. Integrity is not truth certification.

What LedgerCore is

LedgerCore answers one question: which decisive events have enhanced tamper-evident anchoring? It is built on Azure Confidential Ledger, named in live records as ecozledger, and it holds sparse milestones only: tier changes, lifecycle events, binding proofs published or withdrawn, evidence receipts anchored.

LedgerCore

  • anchors selected decisive events
  • is the single anchoring service
  • stores integrity, not content
  • is purchasable through TrustOps

Not LedgerCore

  • every ordinary decision (never written)
  • the Receipt itself
  • canonical state (Core determines it)
  • a public archive of payloads

Anchors, honestly

  • A Receipt’s anchor_ref is a reference the source event carries. A reference is not an anchor claim.
  • ANCHORED is reported only after a verifying read-back of the anchor.
  • Ledger anchoring protects record integrity only. It does not create identity truth, compliance, approval or business quality.
  • The same holds for signatures. In the live record’s own words: “Quantum-safe signing protects record integrity only. It does not create identity truth, compliance truth, regulatory approval, insurance, certification, safety, or business quality.”

This page is explanation, not authority. Current state is only ever the live Resolver record. Live facts on this page were measured read-only on 2026-10-10.
